How to arrive

From Athens:
You have to take the bus from Liossion Bus Station in Athens. To get there from the airport you can take the bus X93 (5 Euro, about 40 minutes) and ask the driver to let you know where to get off. You will have to walk a few meters to the bus station. There you can get the ticket for Galaxidi. Some buses come all the way to Galaxidi, while some stop in Itea where you change bus to come to Galaxidi. If you take the 15:00 bus you will have to wait in Itea a couple of hours for the connection to Galaxidi. The price of the ticket from Athens to Galaxidi is 18,70 Euros (one way). There is no discount for a return ticket. The ride takes approx. 4 hours. Check the time table here. |
From Thessaloniki:
From Thessaloniki there is one bus a day at 15:00 from the main bus station of Thessaloniki (“Macedonia Intercity Bus Station”, Gianniton 244 Str.) (35,80 Euros). The ride takes about 7 hours. You can take bus 78 or 78A from the airport to Thessaloniki main bus station. From Patras: There are 2 buses that leave from Patras to Galaxidi at 12:40 and 18:10. The ticket costs 10,10 Euros. The ride takes approx. two and a half hours. The bus station in Patras is not far from the harbor. Just ask anyone for the KTEL bus station for Fokida region. |
